We are proud to announce that Dr. Wael Al-Delaimy, Professor at the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health & Human Longevity Science, has been honored with the prestigious 2024 Integrity Award.
Dr. Al-Delaimy has been recognized in the category of “promoting integrity and ethics in the classroom, department, or research group in unique or extensive ways beyond what is expected of the person’s role.”
Dr. Al-Delaimy’s award is a testament to his exceptional dedication to advancing ethical standards within the academic and research communities.
Dr. Al-Delaimy has significantly contributed to research integrity through his role in teaching the UCSD Scientific Ethics course.
In addition to his teaching role, Dr. Al-Delaimy has been actively involved with the UCSD-housed Ethics Center. His contributions have been instrumental in developing and promoting ethical guidelines and practices that support the integrity of research conducted at UCSD.
The Integrity Award recognizes Dr. Al-Delaimy’s extensive and unique contributions to fostering an environment of ethical excellence.
