Al-Dabet is an associate professor of clinical biochemistry and the chair of Medical Laboratories department at the American University of Madaba (AUM). He is certified as an Allied Health Instructor (AHI) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT). His main research interest covers the microvascular complications of diabetes Mellitus, particularly diabetic kidney diseases, the sterile inflammation “inflammasome” and the premature aging “senescence”. He is also an active researcher, with around 19 published articles in several respected journals such as, kidney international, JASN, nature communications, amongst others. Moreover, he has an internationally registered patent. Al-Dabet holds a PhD degree of Medical Sciences / Clinical Biochemistry from Otto-von-Guericke University / Germany. He also holds a Master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences / specialized in Clinical Biochemistry from Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST).
