Oriana Awwad is a Professor of Pharmacotherapy and Clinical Pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy, the University of Jordan (Jordan) and a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) at the University of Verona (Italy). Awwad is currently leading active research groups working on different research lines.
Oriana Awwad holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Pisa (Italy). In 2016 Awwad was awarded a post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Pavia (Italy) and in 2018 she completed the RCR fellowship awarded from the University of California San Diego (USA) and the Jordan University of Science and Technology (Jordan). More recently (2022) Awwad completed the Clinical Research Training Course “CRA Mission” organized and provided by ClinOpsHub, Yghea CRO which included 50 hours of clinical research training as required per Italian Ministerial Decree 15.11.2011.
Awwad has been a member of the Bioequivalence Clinical Trial committee at the Jordan Food and Drug Administration and the Representative of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the School Board. Currently is an evaluator of the ACPE International Services Program (ISP) and a member of different local and international committees. She also received a high citation recognition on the “Distinguished Young Scientific Research Day” 2020 – University of Jordan.
