Omar Al Omari is a registered nurse, has completed his PhD from Curtin University, WA, Australia, 2011. Currently he is a professor of Nursing. He teaches a variety of subjects at the undergraduate and post graduate levels, and he has extensive international experience in the triad of academia. He has served in different administrative positions and currently, he is the head of quality assurance unit in the College of Nursing at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman. Scholarship wise, Dr. Al Omari served as an adjunct researcher with School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine at Curtin University Australia for several years. He is an active member at several international associations, a reviewer for many journals and associate editor for Sultan Qaboos medical university journal. Dr. Al Omari has published over 70 research articles in well-known, peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include the psychosocial aspects of cancer patients and adolescent and young adults’ mental health.
