Mehdi Ben Khelil is a Forensic Pathologist and Professor at the University of Tunis El Manar.
He teaches Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences as well as Ethics, RCR, and Medical Law at the University of Tunis El Manar.
He used to work in the Forensic Medicine Department at the Charles Nicolle Hospital of Tunis and is now the Head of the Forensic Medicine Department at the Trauma Center of Tunis. Expert in forensic pathology, clinical forensic medicine, torture, SGBV, and medical-legal documentation of human rights violations.
He published 50+ papers and served as a reviewer in several forensic sciences and Public Health journals. He was invited as a keynote speaker and presented at several conferences related to Forensic sciences.
He is an elected member of the board of the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis since 2017, and he coordinates the continuous professional development Department (managing 76 University Diploma, 2 Master of sciences a PhD school, and 2 Masterclass sessions per year)
He also has a long journey of volunteering within the scout movement, locally, regionally, and at the World level.
