Mayis Aldughmi

Mayis Aldughmi is currently an Associate Professor of neurologic physiotherapy at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Jordan. She focuses on studying non-motor symptoms such as sleep disturbances, fatigue, and cognitive impairments and its relationship with common motor impairments and physical activity in various neurological populations (like multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease). She is also interested in sleep health promotion by exploring non-pharmacological interventions such as exercise therapy and sleep hygiene education to improve sleep quality. She also teaches in two Master programs in the department of physiotherapy: scientific writing and advanced neurological rehabilitation in the Master of physiotherapy program. And behavioral health and neurologic sport injuries in the athletic therapy master program. As a responsible conduct of research fellow, she published work related to honorary authorship and have delivered several workshops in her university regarding responsible conduct of research to students and colleagues.
