Maha Al-Keilani is an associate professor in the department of clinical pharmacy at Jordan University of Science and Technology, where she has been since 2013. She completed Pharm D from JUST in 2008 and she has completed her PhD in Clinical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Iowa/USA in 2013. Her research interests span both oncology and pharmacogenomics. Much of her work has been on identifying new therapeutic agents and targets in various types of cancer like breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer, and other diseases such as multiple sclerosis and cystic fibrosis. Moreover, she is interested in identifying new biomarkers especially the neuropeptides, that can aid in diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
